I've recently snagged a copy of World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. Written by Max Brooks, who also brought you the The Zombie Survival Guide, this book will have you addicted from the introduction until the last page. The story is told by those men and women who survived the living dead war.

I was lucky enough to hear him speak at the Zombie-fest in Pittsburgh.

"A sober, frequently horrifying and even moving account...Brooks has delivered a full blown horror novel, laced with sharp social and polictical observations and loads of macabre, gruesome imagery...The real horror of World War Z comes from the all-too-plausible responses of human beings and government to the menace." -Fangoria

I couldn't have said it better myself, so I won't.
